Decent lunch at Quays - Went for a blast - Pull over for **** and car chat - Went for a blast - Pull over for further **** and car chat and removal of a certain exhaust silencer baffle!! - Went for a blast - Curry in Guilford.

Excellent day, great to meet Pete (see you at the rally mate), Alex (Nice P1 ), Rich and Tony, looking forward to next one and a Track Day

A similar situation didn't stop me turning up, though nobody turned off an alarm clock on me. I just thought that I wouldn't need it. Strange that. I eventually turned up at 1:30, lunch wasn't so good though. It was supplied courtesy of Walkers as I didn't want to hold up the guys any further. Rich and I found a good road after we split up. We'll have to include that one in the next route.

Sorry Jason,

I spent 2.5 hours getting into work that morning, including the detour to Basingstoke, then topped off with a journey from Slough to Basingstoke on the way home (most of the journey in a Legacy GX) I wasn't really a happy bunny!!!

One thing I've learnt, don't drive a Legacy like an Impreza turbo, you might experience a bit of understeer!!!

Was your's the red one?

You should have said hello, as I'm crap with names and faces, but for some reason people seem to remember me or my car!!!!

As for a Fleet meet, why not post some dates up and see what sort of response you get???

Hows about the 10th December for the next meet (as Wino suggested)??

Oh, Boxhill is looking like the 2 December, 2pm, in the carpark @ the bottom of the hill (as usual).

I'm at Goodwood on Saturday, with my replacement replacement spoiler (3rd one!), which actually follows the lines of the car this time!

Tony - your exhaust is something else without the muffler!

So the 10th anyone??

Andy T, yep red one was mine... you did look like a thunder cloud was hanging over you ha ha !!! I had the Legacy once and yep corners are not quite the same.... ha ha !!!

 

I'll have got back the day before from hols, so providing I'm not jet lagged, I'm up for it. See you guys there.

It may not be wise to invite too many people to your first track day At least Richard and I have have nothing to lose in our slow cars. I'll dig out the maps and check how long I think it will take to get to Goodwood just to confirm the departure time.

see your point, I was more or less just inviting people to watch, rather than sit next to me, as I dont know how many goes I will get or how the long the car will survive (joking hopefully!)

Its just I know alot of people just came along to watch @ Donno, and thought a few of the guys from our neck of the woods probably would like to, too... I hope I havent spoken out of turn.
