It was ok up to the point where that pillock did that burnout. I promptly left after that. If its one thing that REALLY pee's me off, its burnouts.

I shall go to the next one though, I just hope he's not there...........

Luckily enough I left around 4:30 so didn't get to see this idiot do a burnout (Was it the red Astra by any chance)

There's me trying to convince my girlfriend that the people there are not the usual Max Power types (All the people we spoke to were really cool) I'm just pleased she didn't see that!!

The guy with the red Astra - Astra!! well says it all!!

Anyway, I am not sure about the P1 brakes, it is 1.6K for NOT a complete kit. The AP 6pots are the ultimate for little bit more but you also get everything - hosses, .5 fluid, a complete kit.

I will keep the original brakes just incase I NEED TO PUT THEM BACK ON FOR ANYTHING..

PS I was the one with the 18" on the P1.

I plan to take a day off & go to powerstation for the bump-steer - anyone fancy it towards the end of Oct?

I'll go with you to powerstation.
Have been thinking about the bump steer mod and getting the prodrive suspension settings to.

(not sure how valid both of these are on an sti, anyone 1 done it?)

forgive my own lack of mechanical ongoings, but basically (and i mean basic) its when you hit a something on the road and the car steers elsewhere as a result.

I await more technical answers and get ready to stand corrected

I was there - White STI type RA - parked near Stef. Good to meet Simon (Cookie) and Alex - also good to meet Stef properly (and yes the cheque has already been posted to SIDC !).

Shame about the Astra - oh dear...

There are loads of threads about Bumpsteer - it is just the reaction of the wheels having force on or off them. Makes handling safer as they tend to make car understeer - removing bumpsteer makes car go exactly where you point it.
