What is Legacy spec gear oil?

The MY00 manual says 75w90 gear oil.
Do they come from the factory with fully synthetic in the gearbox?

Fosters, yuou won't need a magnifying glass, I have seen some on an RB5 and believe me, you can tell. You don't need to go searching for them.

They look like frost has gotten into the metal or something and they kin of "split" as opposed to being huge cracks.

Hopefully you'll never find any. Look at the road ahead and slow down sooner!

Just noticed a clunking sound from the rear so investigated and have discovered a leaking half shaft- nearside/rear.
Recently had a BPM exhaust fitted and the pipe is very close to shaft.
I hope repair will be covered under warranty MY99 - although have many mods .

MY99, 10500 miles. Lets see...

Radio rattle. Check.
Clutch Judder. Check.
Glovebox rattle. Check.
Passenger seat rattle. Check.
Rattle from parcel shelf. Check.
Clattering engine on some mornings. Check.
Windows on Mogadon. Check.
Dodgy window seals. Check. Cured with nylon lube.
Window clunk. Check.
Stubbornness to get into reverse/1st. check.
Apparent leak in petrol tank. Double check.

Love it to bits.

Doubt I'll buy another though That hole in the petrol tank is mullering my finances.
