A friend of mine owned an F355 for a couple of years. He bought it when the car was 4 years old, sold it when it was about 6.
He was never the most mechanically sympathetic driver, and certainly didn't shy away from giving it some. But the car never let him down, nor did it need any work doing to it aside from servicing and consumables.
But the cost of ownership for those two years was still £30k. There's a very big bid/offer spread on these cars if you buy through dealers.
