That was a good meet, will have to do it again somwhen. The Wagons changed a bit since you last saw it, that was the day after we picked it up, it was like it was just out of the wrapper .. I put some pics on here

You adding yourself to the list would be good to have an STI wagon onboard

Hi
The rebuild was'nt planned (the big ends went big time), however after the running in period i'm planning on some serious engine mods.
As you know these jap STI's Classics are'nt quick enough

Like what you've done with yours some very nice subtle mods.

Already signed up, you up for next Newlands meet.

Cheers
Chris

Gutted they stopped the STI Wagons at v7 ... So I made my own up

I have the STI gills to go on the bumper and an STI 9 scoop as well

The old school scoob heads can spot that its not an STI, the 5 speed gearknob gives the game away, but apart from that I think its close as I'm ever going to get.... Just need the engine done now so its not all show and no go ... TSL 333 is on my santas list

Someone at a reputable (I'm beginning to wonder now though) scooby tuners got fooled, and said "..did the STI 9 wagons only come with a 5 speed box then..." and even booked it in when i has some work done as an STI 9 Wagon, instead of a MY04 WRX

Whens the next newlands corner meet would like to make it if possible

Newlands is 2 Sunday in september.
Secondly was looking to do maybe a track day at Brands maybe dec/jan as they are really cheap at the mo.
Straw poll anyone interested?
Just Imagine the look on everyones faces when a convoy of waggons pulled into the pits "classic"

My Vision exactly in starting this thread

Woukd be up for the Track day as a Wagon meet, great idea. We can also do a RWYB at santa pod as well, as its pretty central we shpuld get a few regions wagons to attend. Hopefully some people wouldnt mind travelling to Brands Hatch.

I'm a track virgin myself, so not sure if I should embarass myself in Granby's Vapour trail

I Think that sat in the pit lane my STI badges & prodrive stickers should add another 100 bhp otherwise I might get rumbled

Nothing serious and no damage (apart from my pants) so that's OK, shall we say the backend tried to overtake the front when this corner came up to me out of the blue (but my immense driving talent or was it luck kept it in check) , luckily i was in the middle of the road and there was nothing coming the other way , kept my passenger quiet for a while afterwards though

ps....i saw that other post, will try and tune in
