At last years NBO I could only get 47 wagons in 400 scoobys and similar figures for the previous years


Next year im planning to group all the wagons together at the NBO 4


we are are unique breed

So I think this is going to be a two prong attack....

1/ southern run-out / pub meet for the southern wagon owners.... if anyone has been on the Surreyscoobies - newlands corner/Fairmile pub run you'll know the format.

2/ Southern Wagons run up noth to Santa Pod for a bit of RWYB and Meet.... This si fairly central so could get several regions wagons attending if we post on all regions forums.

How about a prize or two for best times ... worst time ....best wagon of the meet etc.

Then after that thirsty work on to a pub/ restaurant somewhere for a spot of food before we all find our way home.

As previously mentioned, this is an ideal opportunity to get some publicity and spot light on the wagons with the magazines if thye would be interested if we invite them.

Looks like the first meet could be a rolling road day then ... with a 'Wagon Tunnel Run' some time in the new year ... along with the wagon RWYB and a southern pub meet somewhere.

 

not been to a rolling road before, any idea where the decent ones are located so we can decide on a venue...

 

I'll look on here at some previous threads, I'm sure there have been several good ones in the past that wont be a million miles away

 

I would recommend Power Engineering in Uxbridge. I've been to a few and I have to say PE is one of the best!

i was lucky enough to be told by the police the other week to slow down (they were in there EVo) i was doing the 40 speed limit around a roundabout!
but i do have to say thay were kind!

a few of the sussex lt tried out Gt art RR last weekend its a bit out the way near to brighton, slightly more exspensive, but very good

heres what they did for us, well i will say what thay did for me
2 power runs with air fuel ratio on gragh plus boost, BHp and tourque figures
i was to have a 0 to 60 run but i had some fueling isues so thay wouldnt do it
thay can also simulate 1/4 mile on the rollers,

i guess that some off you are thinking who are they well thay specalise in skyline tunning there car is 1050BHp , but they are branching out

i have been to other rolling roads but these guys might aswell layed out a red carpet for us, det cans checking hoses etc and recalabrating rollers every run!

you could even drive your car doing the 0 to 60 comp if you wanted< just dont brake unless you want flat spots

I'd be happy to keep you up to speed on developments from down Sarrff

I'll be looking to do this wagon meet as a rolling road event for the southern wagons, but have a RWYB wagon day at the 'pod as this is central to must regions.

I'm right with you for thr NBO, any help you need organising or co-ordinating the southern Wagons i'm your man, and I'll rope mrs in too.
She's good at this sort of thing, we used to run the Renault Sports Club in a former younger life
