Neil, I just felt that people were starting to get into big power debates and the technical issues above certain bhps.
For me personally, i`d like more power, but safe too. Thats why i`d probably not go for NOS.
The reason I ask on the STi injectors is because its possible i might know where to get some for not too much money

There are some STI Pink Injectors for sale on this site, for about half the RRP.
I'd fit them purely because it will give plenty of ceiling in that area. Better to be on the "definately going to be okay" rather than "should be okay" side.

Who did your re-map Cliff ? only you will not need to pay the full amount for another, have a word with them and see how much for just another fresh map on top... you have paid the large part for the initial re-map license already.
I know one of the local guys is having a secondry map at a very resonable price at PS so it may be worth you phoning around, this will give you a better idea on your budget breakdown.

why did my 03 and every bugeye ive ever seen (wrx) have 380s then? (given that we arent talking about classics anyway ) but even then id be confident in thinking they arent 440s...(sorry, i really dont want to sound an ****, but i was caught out once thinking that the ones i had were 440s and found out, on removal, that they werent and i wouldnt want cliff to make the same mistakes i did)
the injectors are blue ones correct?

you can make 380cc injectors behanve like 440cc by increasing fuel pressure to 3.5bar though via a regulator, thats why a lot of people may think they have 440s...
standard fuel pressure being 3bar.
(380/3) x 3.5 = 440.

well my info came from a very reliable source too my own car
but anyway, back to the original point. 380s will be strained to get to 300bhp, so an upgrade is wise for cliff...
