If things don't improve I will be leaving to, but not until I've got my 3mnth refund. Would be pointless to leave now when I'm paying £9.99/mnth for 2meg

I got out by just paying £14.99, which was the transfer-in fee on migrating.
I joined PlusNet in July on an annual contract, but because I download more that the average user [okay . . . I hammer it 24/7

Jowl, I've been using 20Kper sec Online radio via my Xbox for the last couple of years now. It's on for 4-5 hours a day ........ those numbers add up bigtime
Just been announced today that they are introducing idle timeouts for all bb+, homesurf accounts, i.e 30mins of idle time and they disconnect you
Another classic example of their policy to squeeze as many users onto their network as possible. Currently alot of users are seeing disconnections. The above policy is like the old dialup days of disconnecting you after 2hrs to enable other people to login! It's unbelievable, its 2005 ffs and its suppose to be a broadband service.
Glad I'm on Premier (unaffected), above would be the final nail in an already rotten coffin.

In theory yes, and theres also an opt out scheme apparently. But that will cost you extra alledgely
I wouldn't trust them at all, I'm sure they have ways of disconnecting people at will anyway, as proved by these random disconnections everyone is getting at the moment. By the way +net have finally acknowledged that there is an issue with these discons and have suspsended the rollout of the idle timeouts, as it was suppose to be started today. Coincidence?

LOL sounds like an x-file to me
I've not had any bother with them yet, but then I don't use the interweb a great deal other than for surfing and email. I'm out in the sticks as well so can only get 1MB (well a little over) so my speeds are somewhat capped by location
