SVA Import Approval for my Type-R!
Be aware that you may just get ripped off if you go through Cyprus, I would advise you to go through a UK company, if anyone decides to buy a TypeR. A m8 bought an STI8, he was told it was used and from Japan, the cars is still not legal, uk plates or SVA tested nearly 6 months on. He bought it from THE ONLY SUBARU DEALER in town, the car was not registered in Cyprus and actually came from the middle east.
Be warned !!!!!!!!!
I brought a WRX TypeR V-Limited had it SVA tested and guess what I had the same speedo problems. However registration in the Uk is easy/simple/walk in the park.
Type R's usually have RA gearboxes and if your lucky a closed deck engine with the extra oil spray directed on the crank. All Type RA's should have both.
