From the datalogs 200mph came up in 20 secs, 210 took a further 10 secs and it was still accelerating at 1mph/sec when I lifted off.
10secs at 200mph covers 0.55 miles so it would have been doing 200mph within 0.95 miles from the startline.

my calculator is fine, I think the problem is with your datalogs and maths.
9 second flat 1/4, leaving 11 seconds to do the next 0.7 miles needs 229mph average speed to do so
8 second flat 1/4 mile leaving 12 seconds to do the next 0.7 miles needs 210mph average speed
Given that you claim 200mph after 20 seconds, the above figures suggest your datalog results are flawed.

My datalogs tied up with the speed traps on all 3 runs (within 0.5mph) so 200mph in 20 seconds is not in any doubt. I did only guestimate crudely the distance this occurred at as this is not on my datalog.
You tell me, how far down the track did it achieve 200mph

simulation/guestimate around 0.85 miles, accurate to around 0.02 of a mile based on the range of power or drag estimates I use. Projected 1/4 mile time was 9.77@148.5 mph based on 1.1 coeff of friction.

Which sim indeed!
"engine" torque at wheels* looked like this, optimistic low down due to turbo but didn't worry as it's never below 4500 except when launch which is traction and not power limited.
RPM ftlb
3250 250
3500 300
3750 300
4000 360

*Expressed as equivalent torque!

I'd just like to say that what you've done in the last few months is unbelievable Andy for someone that has learned his trade on his own without the backing of major companies and the expertise which goes with them.
This makes it all the more awe inspiring in what you've achieved. Well done!
Maybe it's just me, but it's quite difficult to comprehend how quick your car really is without experiencing it in the flesh, but with the figures you've obtained so far, are you not scared a little?(just a teensy bit? )
I mean look at what you've got. A car which was designed, when? in the '70's? a car with no safety cage? etc.
Surely you must be looking into aerodynamics (under floor) to continue running at these speeds or higher?
Gaffa tape over lights, grilles, windows etc.. a bit Heath Robinson. lol
What would you like to look into now with where you're going with Subaru's?
Rabbling on.. just concerned on the safety aspect now. It's serious s*it you're doing Buster Gonad!! but big respect!

You did it in the real world with real results. Enough said
