LOL - sorry about that Kieran - momentary laps in concentration

Got my highest score on Warlord last night, can't double check as they've blocked the sites - but was about 125

Your best Warlord score is 116 - your best EVER is 136 on Karkand...

Oh, and the chopper moment was one of the funny moments I mentioned

Well i had to remove every single BF2 component and the EA downloader then download and install the whole lot.(2gig).

Process for getting everything working for people with the same problem:

Install BF2
Install SF (updates to 1.1 patch)
Install 1.3 full patch
Install Euro Forces (needs v1.3 patch 1st as requires v1.2 or above)

Everything working fine....touch wood.

I was determined to get a full evening in...

So did you have to reinstall patch 1.3 after EF?

If the game wasnt so addictive - I think a lot of people would have given up on it, what with all the issues surrounding each patch.

Still, I aim to be on this Sunday too

Make sure you use the creative website to download the latest drivers.
If you get problems with the X-Fi drivers, take a look on the SNAFU website, cos we've got an FAQ on there for X-Fi issues (i believe it isn't a problem if you use the latest and greatest).

Doug - great news, so we'll see you on the battlefield soon then

Probably if old Blunderbus is on and doing his usual bombing runs... expect to see bits of me and my tank/heli all over the shop too

Glad it is working for you

Darn - if my father wasn't over tonight, I really feel in the mood for a BF2 session tonight Ho hum ...

A few more suicide runs in a heli into dv8's heli would be a laff

Got my new Soundcard sorted (X-Fi fatatl1ty)

The new mouse is a godsend! (Logitech G5)

New mousepad is HUGE!

Even managed to get my basic helicopter badge last night (thank you Alex - now lets see if I can improve my gunnery skills to match your flying ones!)

I would like to apologise to Piercehead for last night tho... every (and I mean EVERY) time I dropped artillery in the Dragon Valley map he was underneath it. God only know what he must've thought - poor sod (although I was very chuffed with killing every single person in the Wood Yard with an artillery barrage seconds before a group of US guys entered - it almost looked deliberate!)

Speaking of which - did patch 1.3 change the way that the commander gets kills? I could've sworn that you got points for killing people with artillery before, you certainly don't now....

Kieran - nope, commander has never got points for kills, although does get the kill logged.

Good games last night, I had to duck out early partly due to CTD.
