Pity the stats dont show how many plane on plane kills folk make i.e. kills that take a bit more skill, rather than just bombing us poor foot soldiers

I always thought pilots should spent their time defending the skys but it seems most are quite happy to leave each other alone while picking off the easy meat

I only need 102 points for Staff Sargeant - so I'm definitely playing tonight

I don't suppose anyone would mind standing around while I stab them 5 times? I really want to get my knife combat badge and I'm so crap I don't have a chance any other way!

Oh, I almost got the pistol badge last night and it's not THAT hard - I just got carried away using the big gun when I could've swapped over

Stat padding will get you banned from most servers... be very careful with jokes like this!

Have to have a game where we are all medics - all stand in a line - knife the bloke next to you - heal them and then swap

NB (for any stat padder investigators - the above is a joke and I would in no way - kill someone - review them and then kill them again ! )

It would be fun to have a knives only round. Can you set this up on the server?

TopBanana, there are knife and pistol servers, normally 16 player maps, Kirkland or Manchester City (I know its not Manchester but you know what I mean, its the one with the temple in it).

No - the EA T&Cs prevent us doing this.

Not sure as I am at work, I'll have a look when I get back. Just do a search on pistol or knife and it will appear.

Bare in mind they are probably not ranked and thus you won't get the ribbons you're after.

You are probally correct.

The one I went on was a right laugh, people use tanks and rocket launchers and sniper rifles, not just Knifes and Pistols.

Still good fun running around though, its also helps increase your aiming for when you go back to ranked servers.

Gawd - what a great start last night was!

When you have two guys using teamspeak co-operating and working well together you get an awesome game

Me and Jim last night... in a single game I got basic support specialist, veteran support specialist, my promotion to Staff Sargeant and a Gold Medal - not to mention what I think was 113 points! There is NO way I could've got anywhere near that on my own, but we just supported each other so well. Great first game that

(Oh, and I shot the crap out of Alex enough times to make me happy! )

I also got basic SF medic and then veteran medic in 1 round and had about 100 points, but I was about 50 points on the bronze slot

Yep a fantasise couple of game, I played commander for the first time and got 140 points for the first game and 100 for the second, silver and gold medals respectively, Staff office ribbon and a couple of medic badges.

A very profitable evening.

You were a stonking commander on the Asylum map! Your score reflected it as well: 100 team points. Even though I didn't get such a high score as I did on the first map - that game was more enjoyable as there were some excellent firefights going on

I don't think your Artillery salvoes were in the same league as Alex tho' - he just had this uncanny ability to drop the damn shells EXACTLY where they were needed!

Well, I came in late, annoyed everyone with Boris Johnson on Question Time (forgot about background noice - wife was watching sorry!) then tried to "team up" with Alex in a chopper. What a mistake! Alex, I have to say that was some of the worst flying ever! Every time I needed to shoot something, you moved. You didn't stay still when I was trying to shoot other choppers. You crashed on take-off how many times? Did you notice I got fed up at some point and buggered off in a tank? Safer LOL!

On the upside, I got a promotion for some reason

Getting into this now

I noticed you trying to get across that strait of water in a motorboat... pity I happened to be wandering past in an APC each time you tried

It really was bad luck the way you stood next to that APC that got C4'd by your own guy I was very sympathetic with the guys on our Teamspeak channel when I witnessed that

Oh, who was that Captain ranked player last night??? He scored 193 in one game and racked up over 60 kills!!!!
