Pete,
Call his bluff and say you've received a Notice of Intended prosecution through the post for the time you were on holiday. Nothing horrendous, 43 in a 30 should do it. Then tell him as he had the car the whole time you've nominated him as the driver.
That should drain the colour and smile from his face
Mind you, that COULD happen for real

i am currently fitting my 7" motorised touch screen in my car and i had this great idea!!! im no good with with this sort of stuff but can i somehow, or am i dreaming, fit something so that i can see all my stats on my screen! eg: BHP, 0-60, pressures and all that! It would look so quality, and i have seen it on fast and furious! ha ha!
Come on guys, it will cheer me up, i have just split up with my missus, whilst on holiday! She said i paid more attention to my car and my mates than her!! ha ha! then came home to this car scenario!

Thanks Baz
I've got a few new tricks up my sleeve:
I'll be doing a DEFI fitting service, along with other gauges such as Autogauge, once I get some new tools/taps and dies.
Clifford alarm installations and reprogramming (once I get the software)
well, basically I'll fit any electronic gizmos and toys
