You cannot get a true 60-100mph figure by deducting 0-60mph from 0-100mph as they have done on 'lets torque'.
If you want figures Autocar test rolling acceleration (30-70mph from memory)

I wouldn't say so mate. You are quoting 0-62 not 0-60!
The cupra R does 0-62 in 6.9 and 0-60 in 6.6! It also needs a change into 3rd to get there!
A new WRX unless launched brutally hard will only achieve around 6secs if lucky! Many scooby owners claim of their cars capability to do 0-60 in 4 secs but you only need to go upto santapod on a sunday to see the majority of scooby owners cant launch for sh*t.
Is a WRX PPP quicker than a standard sti? If not a chipped R will easily see off a wrx ppp!

The facts:
Seat Leon R: 30-70mph = 6.0secs. 0-100mph = 18.0secs
Subaru Bugeye WRX = 30-70mph = 5.8secs. 0-100mph = 16.9secs
Subaru Bugeye STi = 30-70mph = 4.9secs. 0-100mph = 13.5secs
Subaru Classic UK = 30-70mph = 5.2secs. 0-100mph = 14.9secs
Subaru Classic STi4 = 30-70mph = 4.8secs. 0-100mph = 12.3secs
That gives you an idea of performance both from standing start or rolling start.

Unless you have actually owned a chipped LCR, i dont see how you've managed to come up with this conclusion
I had a UK classic with exactly the same mods producing approx 275 in the end! It wouldn't touch my cupra R on the move!
Your forgetting 1 thing! A chipped R has 240bhp@ wheels and 300lbft of torque!
The scooby equivelant is going to need in excess of 300hp to match those stats!
Typical scooby owners, cant admit defeat! Just remember what this thread is actually about eh lads
Bob....Stats i have are 6.6 and 17.0 0-60/0-100, which of course is nothing to shout about but its mid range is certainly stronger than a bugeye/blobeye WRX.
We all know scooby's are impressive and like sh*t off a stick 0-60 but get them on the move and they are nothing special at all!

I don't know if transmission losses are as much of a hinderance as you think they are Mitchy..
Take the P1 for instance, the 100-120 time is 6.5s, the same as an M5(old) and a R34 GTR(Top Gear Mag times), all this with an apparent 276bhp....

Think you guys are getting a little bit worried about the wrong SEAT. Remember the Ibizas the Leon's 250kg lighter little brother comes with a 1.8T lum too, many of the basic ones are running 230Bhp and then a lot of the big turbo ones are pushing out 350bhp and onwards, so look out for these too

You can bring your Chipped R with 240@wheels and 300lbft
and i will leave you for dust in my Sti type R Any day from 0-130(est running 330bhp,but@the flywheel)So according to your calculations you will beat me on the move as Scoobs are nothin special at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

chipped this and chipped that....
the figures speak for themselves....
even the slowest of the production scoobs (bug wrx) is quicker than Seat Leons quickest factory cars. 30-70mph the slowest Scoob does it in 5.8secs and the quicker ones in 4.8secs. Compare that the Leons finest @ 6.0secs. And that is using figures from the weakest area of the Subaru (mid range, rolling).
Its not even worth mentioning standing starts, grip or twists.
The Leons are v good FWD cars, and yes they would be comparable with the slowest scoobs from midrange...I wouldnt go as far as saying a LCR is quicker than the slowest of scoobs midrange though as the figures suggest otherwise.

edited to say
0-100mph i'll spank ya
0-130mph i'll spank ya
0-150mph i'll spank ya
0-170+ I'll spank ya
Any in gears I'll spank ya. You can have the 0-60mph thats for magazine reading chavs. Have you mentioned "The Wet" and "The Twistys" i aint sure but i bet its only a matter of time.
Also theres always someone quicker. Point made. Then Andy F could come in and say the same to me.

Open eyes. Read stats.
Too many variables when comparing on roads. Tests are conducted in more controlled conditions.
Let me know when you're next at the strip and I'll see if I can make it. Then you can show me what a disadvantage transmission losses are
The fact of the matter is a LCR could keep with the slowest of scoobs, whilst rolling.
