I had a bugeye before with tints and never had any problems with the radio reception.... if it is the metal content in the tint is there such a thing as an in car reception booster ?? similar to what you can get for in house kit ?

Si, I would go for the gold. I know its a common colour but get the wheels in 18in and that'll be one smart car, its not that I'm saying its not already but what a hell of a difference it would look with those instead of what you have already got.

Stop parking for photo shoots under the power lines simon they will fry your brain

Top tints get the wheels on and you will have a stealth scoob.

Simon

Well i couldnt resist posting again
You tart
Just when i think i have finished tinkering with mine, you go and do that
Was thinking of doing mine, but ws wondering how much yours cost?
Not worried about legality that much, so am thinking of doing the same level of tint.
any other up and coming projects you have planned (just so i can budget for the same )

It seems to have cleared up! Maybe there was some moisture somewhere from the application of the film that's dried out now.

Well now it's funny you should ask what is next as I've just ordered a set of alloys from Rare Rims

Clicky and Clicky

The tints make a massive difference... I am well happy with them
I'll drop you a PM of the price

Get your wallet out because this Roller Coaster ride has not finished just yet

That could have very well been what caused it, I don't know if you watched them being fitted but they do apply them wet in order to position them and get the air bubbles out from under.

You barsteward
I am just waiting for the scoob to come back from the bodyshop (all new respray and dents removal from bumper, bonnet, sides etc) so it will be looking sweet . Then had it booked in for a full armourfend cover to front, followed by new drop links, anti roll bar rear, anti lift kit. Then i have been undecided on a new rear wing, but was balancing the cost of that against the tints and then you come along and start posting up pictures and bloody ideas. stop it now sir or else give me the number of your friendly bank manager

Chris see it's not just me it's Brun that made me get the Sti rears after sending me e-mails intructing me what I needed to do next

Mark one thing is for sure Defi's are out of my price range...
I would consider the cheaper option of the temp and pressure gauges like you can get here Clicky ok the Defi purist may draw breath but I think they are a viable compromise.... I'll see what Simb's look like

Simon

Ok if its brun doing it, then i will send my next invoice/bill for the mods direct to him
Just left a post asking for tinting in my area, so we shall see.
quick question.do you really have to drive around for 3 weeks without opening your window to allow the tint to dry ???

Lets see whats next..my mod wish list is nearly a full page of A4.
Wheels look great, bet you cant wait to see what they look like.cant really stretch to that, might just get my oz ones cleaned up (again)

Chris... 3 days I was told but I am leaving them up as much as possible, I did go to open mine on the way home without thinking and just peeled a very small corner back but it is out of site and I shall patch it up when I get a small square. They apply them wet that is why you need to leave them well alone... lucky for me we have had a few really hot days and that has helped beating down on the car but if you have them done when it's really cold 3 weeks could be about right.

simon

i read that wrong, i think its dont wash the car for 3 weeks !!. nah cant do that, the baby gets washed every weekend
Unless they meant dont wash yourself for 3 weeks, in which case is no problem
The penny dropped about your little square missing, when i remembered your other post asking about a small square of tint..thought you were tinting your model subaru

They are big in the States from what I can gather and still reasonably new to this country... there are only a couple of registered retailers.

Check the Home site out Clicky

Si they do one call a GT-3 and the colour is called Royal Carbon Fibre,
I wonder if they are a scooby fitment
