I'm not having the re-map for a couple of weeks so i'm not really using the turbo at the moment

Is it a pre 96 car Maffa? The ebay ad said 96 - 99, and others have said so. What differences would there be for a 92-96 car would you think??

As you said, only difference is the inner wing hole really. The other is the throttle body is a bit further back than on post 97 manifolds (i could measure it having both manifolds in the garage but guess only only a couple of cms). Therefore some people like Maffa have had to cut the pipe to the inlet and lengthen with a silicon insert. Interestingly others have not so the kits seem to have varying lengths.... can't beat a bit of quality control. But for £220 you can't expect the world.

The other thing is that some people have had trouble getting the pipe for the turbo under the inlet manifold. This is where I (fortunately) didn't have a problem
Spose it's swings & roundabouts really but if you've enough extra silicone hose then any mods to the pipework are easy
