My cars in London, I'm picking it up on Friday, just hope PE put some fuel in it for me. I'm walking to work at the mo anyway so perhaps I'll just have to get used to it (might help me lose some weight anyway )

Well, I hear the petrol stations in town are struggling, ASDA ran out yesterday and when back up only running on 2 pumps. Sainsburys we're running on 1 pump all day with queues in most other petrol stations, I'll try to fill up today.

Fuel protests 'causing no panic'
The government could introduce measures to stop panic-buying
There are no signs of motorists panic-buying at petrol pumps ahead of planned refinery blockades, fuel retailers have told BBC News.

For anybody in a panic mode Frankly Services on the M5 near Birmingham apparently has the biggest fuel tanks in the UK. They didn't run dry during the last 'crisis' and they're unlikely to run dry during this one.
When my car runs out of fuel I'll fill up. If I can't I'll stay at home. We're all in the same baot - what's the problem....? Leave the fuel for the doctors, nurses and other essential service workers.

Cans of beans and all fresh stuff have been sold out!!
Just been to the local Sainsburys and they are stopping people coming in through the door ............... why would I want to?? The shelves are completely EMPTY!! Looks like a grocery shop in New Orleans!!
Its frigging MADNESS I tell ye'!!

I have just the minute queued for 20 mins to get fuel....so yes people are starting to cotton on. It was backing up onto the road.
Petrol station owner was very happy- especially at these prices.
Im fine now- have several cans in the garage and a full tank. enough for 1200 miles should it come to it. So 'i'm alright jack'
