Hi everyone,
Cheesy sent me over here, he said you wanted some numbers for a trackday. Well would it be ok if i joined you? I wouldnt mind doing the tuition thing too, but dont fancy footing the whole bill, so put me as a possable on that if its ok.
I dont know any of you properly but have probably met a few on the Strines/Ladybower runs, I am the guy in the black WRX usually near the back somewhere.
Ive never done a trackday before, other than a helmet, is there anything i need to do/sort out/bring?

As you say, there's nobody else requesting tuition as yet and it would work out quite pricey on your own. The 1st 2 of these we did there were 4 or so sharing the cost. I'll put you down as a maybe, but unless we can commit a suitable number for it, then Rallydrive won't provide a qualified instructor and will instead just leave us in the care of a mechanic for the day just to keep an eye on things. Helmets are available from the venue if you don't have your own.
How come Cheesy isn't coming then

Just to update anyone who isn't checking post #2, here's the current list.....
Remember, there will be tuition available should you want it, and those who've done it in the past will vouch for the quality and value of what is taught. I am hopeful that Howard himself may be the tutor on the day if we get enough to sign up for it, but even if not his other instructors are very good indeed.

I was just gonna say that "CHEESY wont be coming becouse he has to work saturdays" then I read cheesy's post so i wont bother.
I have ordered a helmet which should be here by the end of the week, I want to do some more track days in the future, and go Karting a fair bit so it makes sence to have one.
Food, well i will see what i can do ive got a couple of camping type stoves which are good for hot drinks and fry ups. Also got a gazebo i can bring if you want.
Ok i will get a cheque in the post asap. Cant wait...

TRF, I think the WYIOC gayzebo will be making an appearance, but you could bring it anyway as there has usually been rain and more shelter won't go amiss.
