The simple fact that saxo boy is talking through his *** about his car and the fact he bottled the meet last Thurs suggests he's a 17 year old troll out on the wind up...
My car does 220BHP because with the exception of sound (hence the backbox) I havent modded the engine at all. I couldnt care less if a child in an upturned pram who ***** over Max Power has put a demon tweeks sticker on his mums car and then posts lies on here about the shopping sharabang.

If saxoboy, does happen to have a (french) biscuit tin, with 350bhp, so fc*king what.???!!! good luck to him, i'm fc*king ecstatic..!! If i see you driving round i'll stop the fc*king traffic for you. And just in case the word jealous comes up, i'd rather have the ****s than own a french car..... the only thing ive had that was french, was on a school trip about 25 years ago.....and i blame that on testosterone stupidity.
I've had my driving license for 22years, which is before he was a sperm, and probably before he was a sh*g......he's probably had his license a couple of years at best.....so when he wraps his car round a McD's lamp-post, or looses his license for doin warp 10, round town.... his so called 350bhp saxo, will be about as useful, as an empty McD's barbaque sauce carton.
So what, he's got a saxo!! .......... no matter how fast it is, no matter what bhp it is, no matter how much power its ICE system has got, no matter how wide the body kit, it'll never carry the reptution a Subaru has....even a bog standard subaru gets attention.............
Ive got a £3K tastefully stickered up scoob, put it against a £100k Ferrari, and people still go 'look at that scoob'.... put the saxo along side the ferrari, and its 'look at that *******..!! thats the way it is..!!!

Nooo 220 at the wheels was the figure and that matched the expected figure dude...
I believe its closer to 264 at the fly...Based on transmission loss figures quoted to me on the day...
An STI UK Spec being about 265 at the wheels IIRC?
No point in ever measuring from the fly as its only whats being put down on the road which really counts...

ALL subaru book figures are quotes at the flywheel, and NOT the wheels...a standard WRX will have around 160-165bhp at the wheels, based on an average 23% transmission loss.
WRX 215/100 * 77~ (give or take) = 165.55atw
STI 261/100 * 77~ = 200.97atw
A bugeye WRX is quoted as 215bhp as standard at the flywheel
A UK STi is quoted as 261bhp as standard at the flywheel.
All car manufactureres quote at the flywheel as its the higher figure, therefore showing their cars in their best light. It would look pretty naff if they said a WRX was 160 odd bhp!!!
Best thing to do is go to a RR that will give you a copy of all the outputs, one at the wheels, one at the fly, boost pressure/lambda etc
then you will know exactly what your cars doing. Flywheels figures are all calculated from the wheels figure and inertia anyway (transmission drag if you like) hence why one car can have say...200 atw, 275 fly and another can also have 200atw yet 265 at the fly. Things like flywheel weight, clutch condition, driveshaft weights can all affect that.

All the figures done on this particular day were at the wheels. My 01 WRX struggled on the day (lambda sensor had died) and made about 215 at the wheels. At Well Lane it made 298 at the fly (with no problems) running 1.2bar and a full de-cat (up and down pipes)

Yep Rev, they were indeed. I remember us all working out how to add the transmission losses to calculate our fly figures following the explanations given by the TDI guys...
Well Lane also did a check on HP at the wheels on my brothers car and read 200 bang on - his car not being a subaru and that matched projected manufacturers figures for his as an out of the box model...
I used the rollers as a way of ensuring that my car was doing what it should as having only owned it (back then) for 3 months it seemed a lot slower than my modded 99UK Turbo... It was (expected bhp and torque with no flat spots) so i was happy...
Anyhoo... 220 at the wheels and 215 torque... Splendid!!
