The wheels of parliament are slow moving, particularly at this time of year.
I can't move forward with my particular take on this until I have factual evidence of the Government's funding of Childline. In the meen time of course funds are being raised directly from peoples wages (which have already been taxed) which will lead to the service being kept alive. Out of the media spotlight it will drop, figures will be released - but they'll be virtually irrelevant.
Rest assured I am as keen for a response as the rest you.
Best wishes
James

I received an unexpected thank you letter this morning.
I wish Childline had the cash to advertise on tv to make people aware of the night crisis, as i am sure this would increase donations.
Sadly 'out of sight, out of mind' will always apply.

I got the same letter, it's a shame that everyone doesn't get this letter as it does bring it to the fore front of your mind. I know things like that pull at your heart strings but maybe thats just what's needed. I don't care about the politics tbh it's obvious that it's a case of crisis management at Childline atm, i hope people put politics to one side to at least give them the much needed cash they deserve. Then and only then should we as a country lobby for government funding.
