Rough figures from AutoRoute 2001 say it's just under 100 miles if you go up the M6.

Mellow,

I'm picking a mate up in Chadderton on Sat morning then heading off up to Preston. Is it ok if I follow you? Can we meet at Birch Services or summat? opposite side to NM5?
Around 9? Let me know if this is ok.

Hope the weather stays fine.

Hoping to be sporting 3 scoops tomorrow. Not had chance to paint them yet but they come white so should be a rough match.

Rich

Rich, 9.00am at Birch mate, theres a few of us meeting, I was at Dave last night having a diff guard fitted, said you'd been in a few times Do you still need the tent ?
John, from Stockport to the campsite, approx 85 miles, hour and a quarter ish due to traffic.
21 hours boys and girls....and I've ordered some dry weather so dont worry, if we have to sit outside our tents with brollies, drinking and chatting I'm determined to have a good one

Thumbs up

Just a final check on this new fangled technology type stuff.

Every plug in the house seems to have something charging at the mo. (I must get out more...)

I was going to wash the car today but it keeps raining. Oh well, just have to check the levels and tyres then.

I would put how many hours to go, but I can't be bothered to work it out!

Mellow,

Yes still need the tent please as there will be 3, possibly 4 of us.

Dave was telling me about your diff guard, fancy one myself soon actually. Yes I am a bit of a regular at Jap Innovations these days. Top Blokes and they've done my scoob proud.

See you at 9 peeps, Birch. You should actually hear me leave Chadderton

Chris, I'm going to sprinkle my car in the morning, a bit overcast here, hopefully drier along the way, is Michelle coming up with you, haven't heard from her lately ?
Rich, I'll bring the tent.

I guess the car will be filthy at the end, so why start clean?

Just briefly spoken to Michelle. Still stuck at work (meant to have finished at 3pm), I will find out more later on.

Thumbs up

Unfortunately due to STILL being jobless myself and Dales will not be joining the merry band this weekend.

To say I am gutted is a massive understatement but hopefully I may have sorted my life out by the next camping trip (September anyone?).

Just wanted to wish you all well and hope you have a great time.

I just got in from the garage.

I thought i would do a couple of mods to the plastic pig. Just minor ones like plumb in a new -6 fuel system as i was getting a bit lean at the top end. Added 3/4 degree of negative camber on the front to aid turn in now my front anti-roll bar kit is working the tyres harder. Changed the oil in the diff. Re-glued the passenger side armrest on, the water at the ring made it fall off. LOL

errm, thats about it for this evening. Not bad considering i started at 7pm.

Off to Rockingham in 6 hours, yeeeeeeehaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, bring on the Nascar's.

If you want to see what my westie is like when driven by a nutcase take a look at these. Have fun, see you all soon.

Cool

Might be a bit short of beer there perhaps Mellow?

Hmmm, food... Forgot about that (well, it takes up space for beer). Might have to gatecrash Tescos or somewhere for a one-shot BBQ and an economy sized pack of sausages.

Weather down here is superb. Blue sky and fluffy white clouds.

Cya you all shortly.
