Newage struts are approximately 445mm from the centre of the ball joint to the other.

 

sorry, quick question, and not meaning to change thread tack here, but why do some P1 owners feel that it is necessary to distinguish themselves from owners of other classics?

eg. 3 P1 owners in the list above?

I hope all those who have put their names down for this GB have, or will have, a really clean engine bay? If opening the bonnet to show and impress your mates with the shiny, polished struts also reveals a sticky dirt and grit infested lump of metal which hasen't been touched since the day it left the factory covered in that dreadful protective wax gunge, it could just kill the effect somewhat!

I think I'm going to pass after long and hard deliberations. It's either these or brake pads for a track day next month. I think the ability to stop is paramount.

 

need pads also , check the weekend to find only 3mm left after 9k .....
