Seriously, this feller who has set it up must have a serious beef against Imprezas (more probably their owners) to do this. All I can compare it to is the hate I feel for Man United, I actually quite admire the team and club, just cannot abide the arrogance and crass stupidity of their supporters who believe their club is the best with seemingly no evidence to back up their inane comments
Swap "supporters" and "club" for "drivers" and "subaru", and you have the reason for his dislike.
I suppose that with the scoob having the rep it does, and the seeming deteriorating reputation of the older classic drivers as cars fall into wrong hands, it is inevitable that scoobs and their drivers in general will come to be a target of hate and all that is wrong with British society.

The website was thrown together by me and some mates after an idea I had in the pub one night after some middle-aged chap was telling us all how his standard spec WRX bug-eye would beat bikes
The whole idea of the website, and small stickers on our cars is purely a wind-up to this local chap and other people like him. Lots of my mates have imprezas and they're all sound lads. However as with most car marks there are certain individuals that think they own the road because they have the scoop infront of them and a WRX badge behind them.
Sorry if any of you took offense, or any of you feel like we've thrown a gauntlet down to promote racing on public highways. That was not the idea.
I notice for the 'I beat..' threads that are already there that no-one on scoobynet has found a thread about themselves or a friend; I guess that proves that a scoobynet member isn't the sort of person the website is aimed at!
For those of you that registered off the back of this post, I won't be banning you or deleting any threads. The website is meant to be as unmoderated as possible so your posts will stay.

It's a good site. Very funny. I for one didn't take it that seriously.
