While religion might be a motivating factor in terms of getting people to carry out specific acts and even in terms of building up hatred on both sides (remember it suits the terrorist that you hate them, if you ignore them then they have failed to generate terror) the people controlling this are not doing this for religion. They may be religious people and they may be using religion as a weapon because it immediately gives the impression that one group of people are on your side and one group are the enemy but in truth this will almost certainly be about control and infulence. As more Muslims get sucked in to believe the "religious" angle so there is no question that more will get involved, increasing the perception that it is about religion, but the truth is that religion in this context is just being used as a divisive political tool.

Again I think it is important to remember that this is part of a very long game that has been played out for many years now and the people involved are clever enough to know how to use their "volunteers" for maximum effect. There is no question that religion, and invasions, help to motivate the volunteers and play into the hands of the man at the top but the truthful answer to almost all the hard questions about why the man in control acts the way he does will come down to money, control, power and money.

Besides which thats not how it came across to me. JTaylor was saying that if Iran invaded the UK, all the British lads would ring up there ex-pat mates in Iran and get them to blow places up over there.

As we know they have low tolerance of white immigrants in these countries it is purely hypothetical.
