Just got back from a family break to Blackpool and while there noticed that the BBO last year only went half way along the lights. When we re-grouped around the roundabout we missed all of the tableau's further along the drive. These actually look pretty good and seems a shame that the kids who came along missed them.

Only problem would be turning round for the return journey, one suggestion would be going round one of the housing blocks. Or as a possible alternative there's the Norbreck Hotel along here with a very big car park, could use this as a grouping area for the return leg??

BBO5 Confirmation.

Its great to see the interest for this.

just to give some info, i have spoken to the Police at Blackpool, and they are happy for this to go ahead again.

I am in the process of looking at route alternatives. It has been suggested to do a north to south run thru the lights. For this, we really need a suitable venue to meet at the north lights end.

*If you have local knowledge to help with the above, please pm me*

I have got a confirmation for a meeting venue, at the south end of the lights.

So, it looks like all systems go .......... due to releasing exact details too early last year, and the subsequent levels of interest from other forums, i am going to hold back from doing that this year.

As last year, this event will be run for charity, - Radio City's 'Give a child a Chance'.
And we will be again looking for a £5minimum donation. Hopefully we can beat last year.


For those who missed last year, we raised £550.31 on the night, and we had 106 Subaru's and 2 others.


So, for your diary......
