this is one of my favourite poems and brought me comfort when my mother passed away:

Indian Prayer (Anon)

When i am dead
Cry for me a little
Think of me sometimes
But not too much.
Think of me now and again
As i was in life
As some moments it's pleasant to recall
But not for long.
Leave me in peace
And i shall leave you in peace
And while you live
Let your thoughts be with the living.

Just want to say thanks to those that have posted since.

And yes, SANDS helped us get through this last year - very worthy charity, imho.

Cheers, Alex

Yeah, you learn to live with memory, just something you never truely 'deal' with if you know what I mean.

Thanks, Alex
