Guys, I was speaking to RB5 286 today and he was a bit shocked at the final price so i thought i would post it up here before I do some running about (well neil). lol

Take the cost of the goods - Say £300
Add shipping to the UK - I will work this out based on the total cost, then divided to the amount of items ordered. Say £50 an item so thats £350.
Then you get stung import tax at 10% - so thats £350 x 10% = £385
Then you get stung vat - £385 x 17.5% = £452.24
Then it may be delivery to me and then forwarded on (as most people deliver one address and then forward on) so thats another say £50

So a £300 purchase could work out to be £500 by the time it gets to your door!!!

Buying in USA etc is cheap, its just getting it in the country that adds up.

Saying that the £300 purchase above, is probably bought for £700-£800 from a UK retailer as the UK retailer needs to add their mark up on

just give u an idea.

with rb5oc club discount the rb5 bootspoiler delivered to my door is £460 from a uk supplier

£212

+50= 262

+10% = 288

+17.5% = 338.45

+50 = £388.45

so saving of £80 approx

Nice one Mark.

The discount is much better than UK suppliers.

Seibon quality is spot on. If you guys want a cheap boot lid I will get you one for under £300. But it will be heavy like the original boot (maybe a bit lightier) and not as good. Seibon is good stuff!

Can we have definites on who is in

I hope I'm not too out of order posting on this thread. I have a carbon bug eye bonnet which I would like to swap for a metal one in WR blue.

Also a carbon S202 style rear spoiler for not a lot of money.

This is going to be mucho expensive as shipping kills it!

Ive worked out final cost delivered to you is:

Boot lid Retail £800 - Group buy price £580
P1 lip retail - £400 - group buy £348
Cwest bonnet classic retail - £760 - group buy £580
RB5 spoiler - £440
New age c west - £426
Classic bonnet retail £580 group buy price £451

This is shipping by plane (so week delivery), in at customs, add all import and vat rubbish and then shipped out to you

Like i said its not as cheap as originally looked at as import and vat push price up but again if you want me to do it then i will.

Can we have definites now:

Other idea will be to get goods to go by ship which will be much cheaper

Definate in for one of these (as described on www.seibon.com)

1 off - CW-style carbon fiber hood for 2002-2003 Subaru Impreza/WRX
Part No. HD0203SBIMP-CW

In no rush, so would accept delivery by boat if necessary

Cheers

1st cwest bonnet is classic.

These prices are based on neils prices on page 3 plus all the charges with it.

So far we have 3 people it looks like.
