Rolling Road day @ Witham, Sun 7 August
#362
Thanks for your comments, I really appreciate the feedback!!
Some awesome cars there:
R34 GTT Skyline
Lotus Esprit
Evo FQ300
I'll arrange another RR day in the future, and after talking to Bubble, I think it should be a Skyline Vs Impreza day!!
Thanks to all of you who came, you all made it the success it was!!
And a BIG thanks to Tiny, Karen and Spally on the BBQ, great food, great service
Results are on another thread

Cheers to all that made this a excellent day and especially to cornelius who i thought done really well with the organization..
The bbq was wicked as well...well done tiny, spally and the ladies serving...
Bit dissapointed with my result (due the car slipping on the rollers ) but was pleased to say the least to take away the overall trophy
See you all soon.....

Eventful day :-
Spally's magic onions
Dent man doing blinding repair on my wing ding
Impressive Lotus & Skyline
Worried looks on some faces when Bill turned up
Shifty's car going up & down & up & down the road not making a sound apart from the alarm (glad it's nearly sorted & that you got home ok)
Cornelius showing what a good Event Organiser is all about (I still say it's the jacket that does it)
Meeting a few new faces
Betts keeping Jess happy

Just wanted to say a quick thanks to Cornelius and helpers for organising and Tiny and helpers for the BBQ.
V pleased with my figures for a std classic UK PPP (267.3bhp/267.9lb/ft).
Had a top day but the noise was getting a little much for my hangover (was at the Cave - interesting place!).
Thanks again!

Well what a cracking weekend / Day that was
Sat Am~ Pm Lodge , Scoobyteq
Sat Eve ~ Posers Cruise
Sun ~ Rolling Road
MASSIVE PAT ON THE BACK FOR CORNILIUS & THE GUYS @ ENGINE ADVANTAGES
I For one was a little concerned @ the 10 Minute time slots , Thought that it may have taken a little longer , But with great organising the day went like clockwork
With about 28 Cars getting onto the rollers , Everyone fed & Watered & Was back home @ just gone 3pm !!
Big thanks from Mrs ESC & I For everyone who helped us out yesterday , Cookie , SpALLY , Flat Eric & Babe , The Budgies , & Everyone who helped get set up & Packed away , Considering that most of us were still out @ Midnight on Sat night , I Was more than suprised to see alot there @ 8am , Wanting to help get set up ready for the day
This is what makes the ESC What it is!! & Everyone does there fair share to make it easier for everyone else
The BBQ & Drinks seemed to go down very well & Also raised £65 for the SIDC / ESC After my costs , Drinks , Rolls etc , The Burgers / Sausages were kindly donated by a very very nice man
Roll on the next one
