Good point Paul, didn't think of the insurance thing although the insurance man will probably see everything if the worst happens... Mine's declared.
The other thing is that if you don't know the names then you can't match up the SN names
Bob, yes same boost on the road so quite a good indication on the rollers.
Shaun, good result previously but what did you get on the day? Those Spec C's are rather good it seems

Thanks to UrbanMyth and the guys at WRC for a great day. The only bummer was my hangover from Saturday night and the loss of 30 odd ponies since the last RR day at ScoobyClinic !!
Alan was good to have a chat, you've got a fantastic outlook on life and fast cars/bikes, with some good stories about back in Oz.
Some real nice Scoobies there that have given me some ideas of what to aim for.
Mike, guess that could be mine ? still dont know what she has, pretty much std apart from the de-cat, as I bought her second hand from a Ford dealer who knew nothing about Subarus. When I ran her at ScoobyClinic she ran 240.2hp at the wheels so the 255bhp was abit of a downer. Know she needs an oil change etc but that cant account for that much loss !!

IIRC Scoobyclinic may give higher readings anyway. It used to be that PS were quite low but they seem comparable with G Force now. WRC appear to be quite consistant but a little lower than PS. It doesn't matter of course as long as you continue to use the same RR for comparison.
Shaun, didn't realise you were that Shaun on the list! Nice torque, are you going to post you plot for the day? It would be good to post all the plots on dynomite scoobies...

Not that I wish to start anything off here as this is totally innocent towards any party, but you may find the increased cooling (direct for us top mount boys and better frontal fans) at PS, may actually mean the figures between the 2 (BHP) would be nigh on identical would the cooling be of the same...... just a thought.

Hmm, I guess it could explain the slight loss I had at WRC but then again I never expected more than 300BHP for my mods at any RR. The torque was much better at WRC (314 vs 281) but that's probably the way they run 'em up at PS. I always thought I had more than 380Nm as it just felt more on the road.
Yep, I'll keep the printout. It'll be useful for myself and others to plan mods if they can see how todays mods work together and what doesn't work. The plots will also show how the power is delivered rather than just peak numbers, which IS more important as you say...

Dont be tempted to use my graph to compare WRC with PS when I got 396 at WRC and 440 at PS.
I didn't have enough money to buy another can of race fuel so just poured in the dregs I had left ontop of the (under 1/4 tank) of optimax already in there.. so was not pure race fuel this time by any means.
I think PS and WRC do closely match each other (BHP) as Shauns was quite close to what he had here the week before. (and better still he hadn't changed things like I did..)
Torque does seem higher at wrc..
It was good to see WRC's approach to making sure everything was A OK with each car before going on the rollers..
Good job too as mine needed a litre of castrol RS to get it to actually register on the dipstick

. This was my 1st rr so nothing to compare to but I am v happy with results and the way the car runs on the road. Just need some of Floyd's fettling to help the figures along a bit

Yea we ran one about 2 months ago now, my first one as an employee there, very badly organised by myself but feel more settled in now.
We are planning some extra things into the next one (one of the reasons for infiltrating WRC
)
Burger van will definitely be a must..
Due to the masses of space we have here





it is likley we are going to try and do a biggy at some stage.... sort of EVO vs Subaru type thing..
Also some sort of big open day to show what we can and do do.
all takes time though. trying to earn them a living and sort things like that out isn't a five minute job.

Andy, I'm not comparing your graph as I realise you had probably had to dilute the fuel. I also quite like the new set up at PS it's just a bit too far for my needs

Just managed to squeeze an extra 22lbft torque out (on top of a previous benchmark run made last Friday), after another mapping session today (not at WRC btw)!
I wonder what WRC would give me now then!

I'm thinking that the twin scroll is the next classic project for me. I think Simon Lines is the only person I've seen attempt this but his project didn't get finished, at least in this country and his was a little extreme and labour intensive 
The brief will be the same as my stage 3; flexible, wide power band and cheap but just earlier spooling and more everywhere hopefully

I have had my car now 6 weeks. I always drive with the window open and have yet to listen to the stereo in the car, expect when stopped for 10 mins on the M25!
