NS04,
I thought that was the whole selling point of the car that and the fact it was limited a edition? Either way it's a cheap way of getting STI power!

The UK300's were basically a base WRX with extra styling. Couldn't really get the PPP, as I bought mine new when I was 23 yrs old, so Insurance wsa bad enough as it was. Before the Tek3 I had a fully decatted Blitz Nur spec exhaust and an ITG panel filter.
Unfortunately with the WRX gearbox, it's not too safe taking it over the 300bhp mark
The peak brake horse power kicks in around the 5000rpm mark now.
It's cost me less than £1500 to get to this power, so cheaper and better than PPP.
WRC done a rolling road on a Scoob with PPP, and the bhp came out at 230bhp so quite a disappointing increase for the money.
Was a great drive home, and those roundabouts did come up alot quicker than getting to WRC.
The only thing is my CEL hasn't disappeared. They re set it and it did go off but came on again on the M1. Went back for them to reset it and up the temperature setting on the sensor, but again came back on. Will need to fit a CEL fix to remove the light.

It's a cheap way of getting PPP power, i think in all, mine was about £1200, because i fitted the exhaust myself. Was goning to try and fit the fuel pump but it sprayed every where and i got scared
So WRC did it for me
Hope you get the CEL fix sorted.

Thanks for the info Steven.
Going to get mine remapped by WRC as soon as the funds allow. Glad you noticed it being defiantly faster. The PPP that you would have had if you'd specified it when buying the car would only have given 245bhp so you are well over that for less money. I know you don't get a bigger turbo kick as such, but the car should be much faster (and easier to drive faster point to point). Basically producing the same power a full 1,000 rpm lower down in the rev range.
