I get this - wish I had my dad's P6 Rover 3500S, wish I had my Ford Escort Mk1 Rs2000, wish I had my Suzuki X7...

Compare to wheeling out a mint SWB Audi Quattro from the eighties. Also it is likely that owning a car over 75bhp that makes any noise will soon be an imprisonable offence unless it is a classic I suggest you vacuum pack some Optimax to go with it mind!

Thing is in 15 years time i will be in a much better situation than i am now and would seriously pay 25k+ for this 22b

Same as i would love a 67 mustang now but can't afford it and don't think i would apreciate it as much..same as having a 22b now if you get me?

I don't see how it will ever be driven again unless you can pack replacement 22b body panels (thin on the ground now) and perhaps a spare engine just in case..wheels? Surely it will be too risky to drive as these won't be readily available in 15-20 years.
Also surely the storage costs can't be cheap for that long. And as above, could get hit by a bus etc..
