My comments about a general lack of enthusiasm was aimed at everyone - it was the same for the scoobyshootout as well - seems like theres a general lack of interest on scoobynet when it comes to big events this year - last year it felt like it was the talk of the BBS, this year, it doesn't seem to get a mention in any of the main threads.

well its my first meet this one... Im in the Wigan area so but my sense or direction is ...well ermmmm bad... Im guessing Charnock is going to be best place for me to meet you guys?

Are all 3 being run from here meeting up at some point? Was really looking forward to my first meet going down in a big convoy!!

Meet us North bound at Charnock. The mini convoy from Chester is goin to Burtonwood, and joining another mini convoy, and then coming to Charnock to meet us Just make sure your there at the alotted time given by John at the top of the post. So far we have 15 so it should be a nice lil train

Sounds like you work in a butchers or sumfin I used to have a gazzebo, but all's I can bring is two foldy up chairs! I thought we were just parking up, having a look around, then going on the rides n stuff!!!! If people are getting to together, then its fine by me but the missus wants to "Go on the Big One" she said Not too sure what she meant by that

i'm not sure how many went in the park last year, but the burger van in the NBO field had a huge Q and was seemed to be expensive, plus do you really want to pay one pound for a can of pepsi?????????

I think IF John posted the route, some 'ahem' boys in blue may take a look, and then look out for us so it's best to follow the leader, even if we DO get lost!!!! Imagine 20-30 cars turning around in a cul-de-sac

One of the best memories I have of the first NBO is about 30 of us stopping in a village (lining both sides of the road) while the lead car driver went into the local petrol station to ask directions. T'was most amusing in a head spinning from other drivers / locals type way. One old lady gave a look of disgust as if we were a pack of hells angels but most just gaped in aw
