Cool beans mr! Thought a flame kit would cost just shy of a million pounds, but clearly they don't .
I guess I could get one to work on my 97? I have a dump valve and decat fitted so it will spit flames when driven hard but not on command and nothing like urs .
So how do they work, n where do u stand with the law/MOT's n stuff??

For flamers to work,

CLassics - decat downpipe, decat centre and VTA dumpvalve (BOV)

Newage - decat up pipe, decat down pipe, decat centres and VTA dumpvalve

With regard to the law, they are illegal to use on public highways, and for show use only.

With my flamer kits, you have a control circuit, coil and sparkplug, which are mounted in the boot.
Unless you have a remap that enriches the fuel ratio, you'll mainly only get flames when driving hard.

I charge £50 for a flamer, £60 including fitting which takes around 1 1/5 hours.

You may get the odd flame with a catted up pipe, but I don't think it's worth it. Bett's car (03 WRX) hardly flamed with the uppipe, and his car does run very rich.
