There's one thing missing from this thread, a date ! Do we all presume that the recce to Al's suggested new venue (and possibly others) is happening on wednesday night And what time is the meet-up at Holmfield (that's 2 things missing) ?

Dave..

The Holmfield impromptu is separate from the mid-month run to Cubley Hall..

At the moment I have no idea when my mota will arrive.. this started as Sticky cycling across to see my face as it offloaded then went all 'Impromptu meeting like'

I will be speaking to Iain tomorrow, so will get a confirmed time.. It's probably going to be in the afternoon.. so after we've looked over both cars (because I've not seen the finished article yet...) we can retire to the Holmfield and turn it into a session..

If it's a morning delivery then we can still go to the Holmfield in the afternoon/early evening because Katrina wants to come across and say Hi when she gets back from work at 9:30pm ..

The mid monther to Cubley has yet to be posted.. But I see this happening on the 16th June as mentioned at the meet.. Unless there any other preferred dates..?

Al - that's what I assumed we would be doing.

Two separate events, so to speak, on the basis that you won't want to thrash your new mota over the moors to Penistone - ruining it the same day it arrives....

Give it a fortnight before it's knackered, eh...??

So you're only giving him two weeks to get the 1k out the way. Interesting times ahead for Mr Cook

...and why's he blaming me for starting all this?

Though Dave could nip it (& moi) over to Rallydrive for the day on Wednesday, just after the 1k

I'll try my bestest to stay away from the kerbs, and as long as you pay for the Optilax, tyres and track time I'll not charge you for the driving. Okay?

Al, if you're gonna be on holiday, I don't mind you coming along I know it will put your mind at rest seeing it being run in so sympathetically

I can spare the odd 21 days to take some pics. For Al's album.....

In fact, we can e-mail them to him, so he can see how the running in process is coming along....

'After the kind and considerate help from Alan's friends, his car sits ready for collection for its 1,000 mile service. The photo was taken after 178.9 miles..'

In this scene David checks to see if his new Meguirs 'Scratch Fix' will remove some stone chip damage..

Look no further son. Black country's finest.. Mark Rhodes. Looser on Pop Idol.. But he's from Darlston, so that's OK..

Now super rich & famous and a presenter on some kids show.. seen here with a bloke from Yorkshire.. So, we have something in common.. Sam & Mark!!

Nah - but he's a fan of that well known tribute band, Sloide....

PS. Al - it looks like you've raided someone's private photo album.... Do we know these people...??
