well let me explain that ive just got home after the game. The penalties absolutely wrecked me, the pub was rammo, singin n everything I was in complete pieces at the end of extra time.

and we won, so what did I do, go to ******* gatwick with my mate and a passport tryin to get on a plane to spain to celebrate for a week Damn that stella artois, thats what caused it ******* champions

anyhoo there were 0 flights at that time hence me bein back home now

 

yes and we knocked you out of the FA cup lol one hell of a game

But sorry Redkop, gsm1 is right. The keeper is not supposed to move until the ball is struck. Most do move off the line a little, but Dudek was out of order leaping from side to side like that. Or rather, the referee was out of order not doing anything about it.

 

I've been a Spurs supporter since 1980 and have seen the team dig themselves out of a few holes in that time, but.... I've never witnessed a come back like that. By the end of extra time I was exhausted, let alone the players!

Got to the last penalty and I was stood in the middle of my lounge hands on head, willing Dudek to save it. F***ing amazing.

God knows what you life long Liverpool supporters must have gone through last night. What a ride.

Gerrard in the second half (and extra time) was a hero.

That game was dead and buried as far as I was concerned at half time. I can't believe Liverpool pulled off the biggest come-back of all time. You have to admire them for that if nothing else.

 

He can move side to side as much as he likes - it's the going forward that's the problem - And yes - at least two of the pens should have been retaken.

But the Ref obviously had his house on Liverpool to win on penalties .

 

He did both at the same time!

 

and so begins a massive hangover after last nights festivities. I need to watch the game again what a result. east london and the pubs were full of scouse shirts

Steven Gerrard described Liverpool's Champions League Final triumph over AC Milan has the greatest night of his life and then revealed there's no way he could now leave the club.
The Reds skipper was one of the scorers as Liverpool fought back from a 3-0 half-time deficit and then won the most prized possession in club football on a dramatic penalty shoot-out.

In lifting the European Cup he followed in the footsteps of such legends as Emlyn Hughes, Phil Thompson and Graeme Souness but talk of his future again cropped up at the post-match press conference.

"How could I leave after a night like that? It was the greatest of my life and talks will begin soon. My form has been a bit hot and cold this season but you'll see a different Steven Gerrard next season," he said.
