Sounds like a very capable car but damn it's ugly. And expensive too. I'm not buying one.

Just noticed theres a spanking new M5 gleaming outside my apartment....right in front of a semi-concealed garage that has a mint 996TT in it - two supercars, the greedy bugger!

Was told by a dealer today that a manual should be available before Christmas. Didn't say what year though

They're all rude and ugly these days. 1 series, 5 series, X3, and worst of all, X5.....need I go on?

Why all the talk about its looks - 0-100mph in under 10sec in a family four door saloon. No matter what manufacturer you prefer this car is awesome, if you are in to cars like me we should thank BMW for producing cars like this, they could just stick to building the high selling diesels.
I,ve only ever owned one BMW and wasn't impressed but would love one of these I,m off to get a lottery ticket and will order mine in graphite with red leather! for now though my Subaru will have to do, now whats the number to get it Chipped!!!!
