the clutch is in and so is the gear box. also the car starts and drives ok. theres no oil in the box so we have to wait till tomorrow when i can get some. diy = a lot of stress

any one know why the clutch pedal is sitting higher than the rest of them? ive tryed to lower it but **** it i might have to come in it thurs so we can all have a fiddle?

i remember a few years ago my astra mk1 gte's clutch pedal sat slightly higher than the rest i would't worry to much so long as it works just a case of getting used to.

Stu, is the clutch cable operated or a hydraulic one? are there any adjusters on the pedal rack/box? just a few thought's.

Have you over tightened the cable so it dis'engages the plate as soon as you put pressure on ?
