Bloody CHAV's....
Some CHAV has stolen my "S" letter off my front bumper.
I don't understand what is it up with some people round here, the letters are only 99p off eBay, it costs more to glue on a stolen one than to buy one that has the sticky back .
This is the 4th time my car has been damaged .

With any luck I have them recorded on CCTV, but it's gonna take hours to go through.
Other than that I'll be on the look out for a Saxo or similar with a badly glued on 3D "S" badge.

Little F***ers ! hope you find the little f***s ! Why do they do that ! Happened to a mate, took the back subaru badge off the boot, must cost 50p for it, but cost my mate loads to respray all the scratches they put in trying to get it off !

No luck so far Jay, I've gone through the night recordings for the past 3 days and so far nothing.
I can go through day time recordings too but it'd take a long time to pick someone out amoung all the passers by.

I've bought myself a much bigger CCTV sign, a huge dome camera on an arm and a better DVR.

In the past I've had my front right wing scratched, the bonnet hit with a glass hammer (I think) and the bonnet scratched deep twice.

Got my new "S" letter for 99p + 99p postage

Sounds like a good plan, have you thought about a reverse bonnet scoop?
Theres one here Impreza Reverse Bonnet Scoop. 01 - 02 BUGEYE for FMIC on eBay, also Grilles, Meshes Vents, Exterior Styling, Car Tuning Styling, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 24-Jan-09 20:48:57 GMT)
I'm pretty sure the seller was selling earlier ones a few weeks back.

Looks like I'm having a week of it .
My Micra was hit on the front right wing by a white VW or Merc van this lunchtime at 12.14, I can see the impact on CCTV and a vague idea of what van it is, but no reg.
The driver didn't stop and give details, instead it looks like they stopped to look around to see if there were any people watching and then drove off.
The bumper has been ripped off and the wing grazed.
I can't remove the headlights (to fit the new bumper) without breaking them as the bolts have had it (need to be cut off).
The car needs to be MOT'd within the next two weeks too.

So, if anyone hears of a plank of a driver with a van that matches my vague description with some blue/green metallic paint marks, please let me know.
I feel that the van could do with some modifications of my picking.

It'll make things run a lot cooler and push air up over the car rather than under it.

The seller has listed the earlier one now Subaru Impreza Reverse Bonnet Scoop 96-00 for FMIC on eBay, also Grilles, Meshes Vents, Exterior Styling, Car Tuning Styling, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 24-Jan-09 20:44:57 GMT)

I realised after looking at the guys listings that I bought a cold air intake scoop from him (right side to replace normal vent).
It wasn't ready to paint and is a little rough, but is solid rather than flimsy crap. I haven't had time to sort mine out yet considering all the other bother.

Good good, hope to get in some time soon to get some work done on mine, they've had it on the rollers and its still kicking out the same power, just need another 200bhp and lots of cash to pay for it so the car will be on a diet like me instead to get quicker

My scooby is ill... again.
70% compression loss on cyls 3&4, no contamination in the coolant so looks like it's cracked/worn pistons or rings.

Nice to see you got yours remapped Jay, thought you was having it done at RASP though?

Yeah was gonna but he's not doing remaps yet, so had to go all the way to the clinic . My power stearing pully decided to die having it done ! But it was well worth it in the end.
