were draging the pug this coming sunday at york raceway. since the last time there "I" (as in me) have fitted new engine/box (thats not shagged/has a decent head gasket or rattling diff bearing), blitz ecu chip, organic techniclutch, B&M short shift, group N exhaust system, same air filter but a new set up for better flow

pugs coming along quite well now.

would you lot like to come watch? vix doing the racing not me but i am tempted to have a go to see if i can do better . york raceway is only an hour away from grimsby.

 

when is it stu might be a nice run out.

My cars in for the engine change today.

I found my boost problem, like a proper muppet I left not one but two intercooler pipe clips loose when I took them off to polish them, I tightened one up last night and got to .75 of a bar but still had a high pitched whistle, I found the other loose clip at the garage on arrival.

Now then ladies,

The engine is slowly comming along, belts are on and its been timed up, turbo has been built up with forge actuator and bigger compressor housing, just waiting on some seals n gaskets tomorrow.

The old engine was really bad, a three mil groove worn into the belt cover, the crank moved in and out by about 4mm.

Paul what time is kick off tomorrow? where are you watching it?

kick off is at 5 so i'l be at home. Anyway it will finish for 6.45ish so normal time for the meet homo

 

glad to hear the engine is comming along ok, so will it be ready for the weekend..........?
