in all honesty for me the standard one works best. i tryed johns standard one on the car last week. much smoother than a vta. it opens and closes faster than a vta one. thats proberbly cos i have a cheap £100 one tho (but paid £12inc postage on ebay ).

the hks ones are £250+new but work in 3 diffirent ways. thats why theyre called sequential. they part open on low boost, open slightly more on say half a bar and then fully open on big boost. blitz ones are supposed to work the same way but are similar price. graham goode do a decent subaru/evo developed vta bov for £170. its fairly quiet as it has a silencer on it, might be worth a try?

mostly people change the standard one for the sound (i did). the standard ones can leak at anthing above 1.2 bar so many change for that reason. you can get uprated recirculating ones tho from forge.

As for waiting around i didnt think it was to bad as lads from sheffield were comming along, but why didnt everyone come into the pub a ulceby cross?
