What about utilising those dummy bonnet vents?
you could probably make something to pipe air from them to the intercooler, something in plastic oval ducting.

d.t im not after more boost by doing this im just trying to eliminate as much lag as poss. i am after more boost but ill have a professional do that when my ecu is remaped. fuel and ignition will be increased along with the boost to stop me leaning out and going bang! i know **** all about my actuator so ill leave that one alone as it sounds dodgy.

 

look on the pic of the hose i "flowed" the other day its the metal one with one rubber hose cuming out of it....



i think that hose is a rocker or crank breather. if i can knock together an oil catch can i can get shot of this hose. but the best bit is if i can get rid of this hose and swap it for a streight one. then i can get rid of the bend from the maf to the turbo. do you see what i mean?

I've still got my old TDO4 turbo if you wanted it to play with, it's just got worn bearings. They have a lighter impeller hence they spool up alot quicker than a TD05, but they lack the top end grunt.

Yes it would be nice to keep the RA, I'll get an STI next, the gearing on the RA is no good for the motorway, 110 back from Tetney and its singing its head off at 6000rpm no good really, I keep trying to find another gear.
I'll just have to rag the wagon about for a while, I could do with some more power though.

silver demon,have you got your baily motor sport transfer you recieved with your dumpvalve could do with it for the opposite side if not need to get another if you know of any anywhere.
