Stu,

Get the foot plate out of the passenger footwell so we can get to the ecu tomorrow night.

Just a quick question?

Have you replaced the ecu by any chance, you know scooby ecu chip?

I remember the wagon I had not working when I fitted the scooby ecu to my ecu unit, it would turn over but was dead appart from that.

That problem was a poorly soldered pin.

I ended up playing with myself tonight, very messy and in front of all those cars driving past at the boating lake.

I was spent by eight o'clock and decided to go home.

You will have to be a bit more specific on the mods you have done fella,
Is it a standard ecu on yours or has it been chipped. If its standard then it shouldnt need doing, if it is chipped it will need the mapping altering to get the best out of your mods otherwise you wont feel a great difference.

stu's right, ive got the hks filter,de-catted,dump valve, and crap boost controller, ive turned the boost down to 0.7 so it runs as it shud standard, its hitting the mark, just seems to have a jump when accelerating?it still goes well just wondered if it shud be smooth all the way thru the revs?i have a v7 on my ecu but i didnt take it to bits yet to ave a look,i will be 2mo tho, maybe it just needs a service or sumfin?

didnt know whether it would make a difference to reset ecu since pitting all the bits on so it can work out whats best?

I dont think it will make the right difference if you do that, youd' be better off just running it as you are.

Could be worth checking the pipe work to the dump valve then fella, is it an adjustable one?
is it fitted to the right place?
Any air leaks?

i bought a bailey dumpvalve a while ago. it was a single piston one. the wrong one for the car m8. you need a twin as it wil not close properly. you will get unmesured air (not going through the maf) leak into the throttle body cocking mixture up.

if you suspect it then put standard one back on.

get these plugs in it.

when you have got some i dont mind niping up and whoping them in. it is easy tho ross you can do it yourself. its just fidly.

Hes been at a ware house party for the last few nights, some gay pride thing where they pour concrete and all dress up as builders.

His **** is in tatters at the moment but hopefully he will make it on Sunday night.
