i drive a MY 01WRX in silver. If ive seen you before lee i always flash and wave at other scooby drivers, its the done thing really m8, so you never know i might have seen you at some time.

you should have come on a fortnight ago because we all went to the NBO at lightwater vally. The biggest scooby meet in the country. I would say there were at least 500 cars there. It was a good day out m8, but hopefuly going to skeggy on july 10th to meet loads down there, if your up for it come with us m8

 

I've been blagging down the coast road for years now, its been a bit of a competition over the years to see who can get to Mablethorpe the quickest,
To be honest I've never bothered with the car shows, I'm always busy with other hobbies on the go plus The spare times hard to come by now with two children under two and sex crazed partner, (If only that was true).

i have one of these valvs in gold for sale £20. cost £50 new. had it on my gt and it did work but with my car being an import im fussy about the fueling and cant afford a **** up. on my gt it felt like it had more poke and a tank of fuel lasted 30-40miles longer. befor it goes on ebay is anyone intersted in it?

Job is going fine thanks,just got home officially finish at 5.00am so a nice flyer.
nice to here lee and stew going for a bit of intercooler cooling you both should see a difference when its warm weather.(just remember to get some ice in a bag smash it up till its all slushy then put it in your intercooler bottle so as to be nice and cold for you.hope you have a big enough pump stew other wise by installing 4 jets you may find only a trickle of water is released and you want more of a jet spray.

Alright lads,

Not on holiday yet, flying sunday afternoon.

Havent been on for a bit been sulking with my car off the road, taking it to scoobyclinic tomorrow and they are having it for two weeks while i am away then picking it up when i get back. Getting it sorted hopefully and getting a few cosmetic bits and pieces done to it aswell. So hopefully should be out and about again in around three weeks. So will see you all then!

Getting used to the nights yet Lee? At least you get to enjoy the sunshine like i do, working nights has got its plus's but not many!!!

Good to meet you all and put a few names to face's, the bugeye STI looked very nice, Lee's I think.

Do any of you buy Optimax? if so how about some good old fashioned Top Trump style swapping with your left over car card's, you only need all 24 cards for a new motor.

Just a quickie about the DIY installation of intercooler waterspray. If you are considering it then have you thought about the possibilty of it leaning out your mixture? I'm not sure how efficient the spray is in cooling the air. If it is good then you may need more fuel to go with the extra air volume you are going to get.
Its not a very nice feeling hitting the fuel cut at speed, it's quite a voilent jolt plus a lean mixture leads to detonation.
I don't want to scare you but I would'nt like to see one of you blow your engine.

Yes it is a shame, that's what you get for jumping the gun, next time I'll sell mine first.
I've got over twenty swaps so I'll stick em in the glove box ready for Sunday.

I got my Wagon running when I got home and had a quick blast, you don't realise how bad the brakes are on the early classic's, Im going to invest in some vented disk's and new pads I think.

lol @ acko. lee i havnt thought of it but ill have to ask arround. im sure it will be fine as ive never heard of it being a problem. i have a cold air box (with a decent feed) arround my hks filter and it gives me no **** with the extra cold air. it feels much better in fact. im also doing a 97/98 intercooler swap into mine soon as ( i find a decent one) poss. all i have to do is take it in dolans to check the fueling/emissions once im done and tweak it from there.off to b&q for some secret bits fro the car tonight . sorry i couldnt make it last night.
