Cant believe people are still wittering on about the Impreza losing its iconic status of the mid 90's, that was almost 10 years ago people.
It is no longer a marque only driven by bankers and IT consultants - as with any car that is loved by the critics they eventually become cheaper to buy, go through the popular phase/stolen phase, then become classics - Cossie, hot hatches you name it - the Impreza is in its popular phase, get over it.

So now it's not ok to dye ones hair as much as it's seemingly not ok to change the colour of your car.
I'll be honest here, some people on this site make me want to split lips with my forehead.
Scoobybabe, I think you are a very pretty girl. I can only gather that there are some very very jealous people on this board. It's not the car modifications we need to worry about, it's the individuals who cannot grasp individuality and need to make a noise in order that someone looks at them, albeit briefly. Didn't their mothers tell them that negative attention is bad?
