hi everyone,

so i am officially starting tomorrow, fathers day, nice!! expecting a monster day with the weather as it is, however so many issues to sort out, car park is plenty big enough especially during a nice summer mid week evening, got bouncy castle out all of the time, big kids climbing frames and swings, so bring all the family,

I do want to sort out a regular meet here, its just going to take me a few weeks to sort out all the issues i ve got with staff etc. however if anyone does want to come down i am sure i will be here.

thats me going past my daughter works at the three horseshoes ,so im always up and down the hertford rd taking her to work etc,etc, not at the moment though!!!!!!!!! i can even walk 200 yards to my local pub gutted!! ive got to put up with the mrs giving the clutch hell for the next couple of weeks!! dammed bucket seats i cant even sit in the front at the mo either

i have now been at the two chimneys (stotfold road, letchworth) about a week, sorted lots of bits out, what is the norm, do people come for drinks, dinner, or what, bring the families? mid week? weekend what suits everyone,

how about tuesday 12th? at the two chimneys from 6pm, i will seperate the bottom end of the car park

did everyone want to make it a regular thing?

who normally aranges these things? or is it just done through this thread, or under events.

Hi Ian, Nice to know things are going well. I don't know about anyone else but weekdays are a problem for me as I don't normally get home from the smoke until late. As for arranging things well I think in way you have already done it by setting a date. As I said I would prefer a Sunday lunch time also ideal for those with kids (10th perhaps) but if not possible I will try my best to attend even if it is only for an hour. So guys let Ian have some feedback...

after having one of my nuts off 2 weeks ago i got blood-clot in my lung and was 45mins from dropping dead and have spent the last 6 dys in hospital so if any of you boys just think you have a bad backache and leave it DONT!!!
as it nearly sent me to the p1 in the sky!! im now a passenger in a ford ka for a few weeks or so how embarassing or what!!

Sorry to hear that mate, I presume the blood clot would likely have formed during the 1st op ? (but then I'm not medically minded). Where did they send you, the Lister or QE2?

Anyway hope you are well on the road to recovery now.

hi everyone,

want to sort a meet out as mentioned before at my pub, two chimneys in letchworth. i know people had mentioned weekends but mid week will give more room in car park and weekends are already really busy so dont want to loose that trade from people not being able to park.

i am making it on thursday 21st, getting there from 6ish, (obviously earlier if you want) its a hungry horse so loads for kids to do if you want to bring families too (bouncy castle, big play area and i think we ve got karaoke that night aswell). come for the evening or just pop in for an hour, both would be cool.

after my last post i have realised that the date, 21 july, i put, clashes with a meet at the lodge with the esc boys and girls. if you were thinking of coming, why not come to that instead, all the details are in the meets section below, however there are a few of us still going to meet up, but on wednesday night instead so pop along if you have nothing else on.
