Hope it was better than the VW day yesterday, l went as l have a camper as well as the scoob. Only about 5 people camped including my mates. The place was empty by 5pm, very unusual for a show. As l was working today l couldnt stay but got told they were invaded by scoobs first thing this morning...hehe. Just wished l could have taken the scoob today ****** work

I would like to thank tiny and the gang for a fantastic BBQ and day out, and Tomtom Navigator for outwitting the local constabulary and their diversions and taking us on the first Brighton tunnel run.

A roasting day out if ever I saw one, by the way we went up to the marina on the train and came back on the bus and it stopped right out side the car park.

Easy when you have done it, not easy to arrange for the group at the time.
The Sand Castles were very good, it was a bit like visiting a little Egypt.

See you all next week @ JAE

Smile Pics of the Day

Morning here are a couple of mine from the day

Flames

Bless

Soft drinks only (apart from the Ladies)

A nice groupie

Some dodgy bloke

For more pics please go to...http://www.nevetas.co.uk/modules.php...view_album.php

These pics have not been edited and have been taken by other people...Courtney to name one of them. So a mixture of everything to show a great day out, thanks to Tiny & Mark for the BBQ, very tasty .

The drive home was good, even if it did take us 3/4 of an hr to get out of Brighton (bloody traffic), and Mrs Baz very sick just before we got home, BUT not in the car otherwise she'd be cleaning the inside aswell as the outside .

Hope you like the pics!!!

Looks like you all had a good say out I spotted you all at Pease Pottage, just before you all left. Baz you looked right at me (blue sport). As I came out of the services building I could hear you all going down the M23!!

Sadly I was double booked for the day and went to Party in the Park in Brighton instead, and the reason the main drag into Brightom was closed off.

Write up:

wot a superb day!!!

We started with a blat thru the tunnel (arranged by myself for a second time now!!!) and a nice easy cruise to the PP services to meet with the rest of the Scooby clan.

Drumsterphil took lead and the convoy arrives at the showground. We claim our usual spot and set up 'camp.'

Some 200SX tries some flames which eggs Tiny on to a FLAME SHOW of his own and easily out does the SX. A great turn out of jap and american cars leads to the show competition of 5 of the best, and guess who claims another trophy!!!!!

Yup, thats right, TINY

ESC leaves the show and convoys down to Brighton, (I have never seen Ajax drive backwards more then he drives forward!!!) but taking us thru some narrow streets and small tunnels to scare the locals!!!

Cara's uni-days @ Brighton help us navigate out of the shopping mall (QUICKLY!!!) and down to the pier where the ladies crash out on the watering hole and leave the rest of us to drag the kids around the amusments finally finishing back at the watering hole where Spec C & MRS Spec C meet us to chill out before stuffing our faces in the Fish n Chip restaurant. BLOATERS!!!

Tiny decides to take the "poser's cruise" left turn and sit in 3/4hrs traffic to get less then a mile.

RB5286 & 02STI turn right for the un-posers cruise and are back in ESC country about the same time

Top day, thanks to every 1.

Well what a relly great day out

Was a little apprehensive i must admit as this bieng my 4th Hickstead!!

This show imho is not one of the better ones , But it's run by a magazine , So you got to be there to be in it

But this day really was about the ESC , Went to work this morning with the feeling that i had been on Holiday for a week or Two , The atmosphere within the Marquee & @ Our evening in Brighton was great

Thanks to EVERYONE Who contributed to the BBQ , It just go's to show that if everybody just does there little bit it makes it a succeses for everybody , Micky A Courtney just loving those new potatoes

Mark as we said this morning it was just like old times

The Trip to Brighton afterwards for me , Rounded the day of nicely , Just a shame that we was still sitting on the pier @ 8-30pm !!! But Time flies when you are having fun

Great to get together with the RB5 Boy's for this meet , Roll on next year , Hickstead & Brighton here we come

Nice that we were also joined by , The Scoobydaddy , Nicola , Maddog & Wife & Micky A & His other half , Nice to see Andy R & Glyn out again with us as well

Steve UK300 , Need to get you an ESC Alarm clock with Tiny Stupid o'clock Sunday seTtings !!

Oh yeah & Just to complete a great day , I Won a nice Silver Platter from the organisers for one of the Five best Jap cars @ The show , Well chuffed

Bling Bling
