He wouldn't exactly need to be Sherlock Holmes since Fatherpierre and PJ's Scoob saw fit to ruin the wind-up and email him.....

The type of people who you would NEVER tell about a surprise party....

Just couldn't hold their water!

And so cleverly informing the seller - I suppose the they also put a link to this forum
Also by providing links on thsi forum means that your browers "referrer" will be logged as "bbs.scoobynet.co.uk". So evidence is logged of where traffic came from.
So now, you have a annoyed seller which could put an official complaint to Scoobynet's Hosters which, could - if things turned sour they may decide to pull the plug and then you'll have no scoobynet.
All because some people do not think of the consquences of their own actions
Don't think it couldn't happen because it can quite easily if sombody has a big enough bee under their bonnet to do something about it (just think - if he was a computer geek he might even go to the extreme of doing a DDOS attack out of spite).
People should think of the consequences of their own actions. Especially to "the pedofile" which I'm sure came via this thread...bogus bids on EBay is what has completely ruined any trust in the whole on-line bidding system.

1) It's ebay so unless they've changed it lately, the user has no access to referer.
2) Why would ScoobyNet's hosts care? "Excuse me xyz ISP, one of your customers has hosted a site which has linked people onto an auction where users watched an item"...
3) The Pedo had made 2 successful purchases so not necessarily a wind-up.
