bought it with 35k on the clock matey,got it for 16 grand(bargain) me thinks

warranty is good until january or 60k whichever comes first!

should be good as i have a couple of friends in quite helpful places

custard puddle - does swissol or auto-glym corrode you barbie and ken beach buggy

 

and that again in English?

 

swissol and auto-glym are car cleaning products invented for adults to look after there cars, amazing but true!

my question was,do they have any adverse effects on plastic toy cars?

back to serious matters,has anyone used the claybar type cleaning products from mcguiars/swissol,are they worth the money or stick to polish/wax

I'd say that was a bargain - either that or the value of mine is plummeting fast!

Yours is a rather earlier example than mine - your being Jan 03, mine being Sept 03. At this rate, my warranty runs out in September - so we'll see what quotes I get. Can your friends help me, perhaps?

Re the Claybar I have used both Swisols and meguiers clay bars

I do the car every six months and it does a fantastic job

 

worth investing then mate ?
which is the best of the two?

Clay bars are both Good

Swissol one is bigger ! and Yellow and more expensive

Meguiers Smaller and white showed the dirt easier IMHO


But both products are great IMHO

finish polish(canubria wax etc)
tyre slicked
wheels polished
all sills cleaned and polished(including boot and bonnet)
engine cleaned

interior

hoovered out
mats cleaned with upholstery cleaner,and carpets while your at it
all plastics etc treated to some autoglym
Cotton buds for in the airvents
roof lining cleaned
windows cleaned
boot hoovered and cleaned

erh! oh and if you got a spare minute or so you couldnt wash the pots could you,there's a good girl

and you never know i may even take ya for a spin in it when you have done!
