Some Red Hat guys have been able to download the binary Lexmark .rpm driver and then hack it using CUPS to work with the Dell but that won't help us as the driver is written in x86 not PowerPC (before we even get to the difference in driver models between Linux and OS X).
So it looks like Mac users are left out for the time being

Buy an Epson C46 for £29.99 (PC World) and pay £2 a set for replacement ink.
I cannot for the life of me understand why anyone would buy a non Epson or Canon printer.

Err...are these any good by the way? I ordered a couple caught up in the hype, but I already have two printers that are fine
Probably give one to my Dad and flog the other one at work to cover costs. Don't want to give him a turd though...

Did anyone else not see this in the small print:
"This printer ships with trial size cartridges"
Anyone got one yet and confirm what they are like? Not really worth shelling out for if it only prints 20 pages before running out.
Simon.

Cartridges are just a couple of quid each and print quality on plain paper is quite good and in black only you get 13ppm.
the trial cartridges are half full, so you still get a fair few prints.
