Jase,

RC or RS Graphics?

Were they a special order size.

Given the size that you go, would you have ordered them bigger next time?

Well, I have just cut mine out and applied the glittery STi logos... I'll tell you this for free - cutting this material is a nightmare! I got hand cramp, got through 2 Stanley blades finally opting for a pair of garden secateurs to do the long straits LOL.

I must say they are looking dandy - and Paul37 is fitting them on Thursday. I shall then gleefully post pics of my new flaps

Do you mean racegraphics or rsgraphics ??

I got a quote for 6" long ones but think that may be too big.

Also what price did you manage to get them for (if you dont mind me asking!) ?

Those with classics, how low do your front flaps hang? Mine seem rather short.

Have you got a classic Mark? Most of the other cars I have seen photos of are the newer shaped ones and their flaps look long - mine however and extremely short. I only chose small logos for mine but the front ones are hidden by the bodywork

No sorry I have a newage.

Here is a picture of my front flaps :-

Don't know how that compares to yours ???

Which set of holes did you use on the templates ??
I went for the bottom set as I plan on having it lowered, and couldn't be ar$ed to re-fit them !!
if I had used the upper set of holes it would have lowered the flaps by approx 25mm, not sure if that is any help to you ??

Post some pics up and let us see

Put it this way, there is no overhang of material above the brackets so all available length has been used.

It's dark now (just been to work) so will take piccies tomorrow and post up. Mine are a lot less length than you show.

mmm, that looks about right from what i 've seen fitted to other classics. If the flaps are too long they drag when cornering. On my newage i have eibachs and uprated ARB and have a 30mm gap between the ground and the flap and it doesn't catch, but when i had standard springs and ARB with the the flaps set on a 30mm gap (lowest setting on newage templates) they dragged like hell!! I was going to raise them to 60mm of the ground but then had springs and ARB done instead

Austen - could I be a pain and ask for the templates to be faxed to me - as the cutting method I used destroyed the templates, and as such, I do not have drilling guides (I was going to use the bracket for where to drill) but if there are 2 different height options I may have made a mistake !

Classics only have 1 height setting, just line the tops of the brackets up with the tops edges of the flaps

Austen,

The Autocad newage template you e-mailed me only had one set of holes - is this correct ??

Ahh that explains it - slightly too low on front and slightly too short on the back.

Could you e-mail me one with both sets of holes on them please, so that I can make adjustments to my new set (and put the extra holes in the ones I am trying to sell http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthread.php?t=430190)

Thanks

Darren
